We are pleased to announce that Opp City Schools has purchased Chromebook devices for all of our students, and the Chromebooks have arrived. We are excited that all of our students will have access to their Chromebooks by the start of the second term.

There are a few steps to follow in order for your OHS student to be issued their Chromebook.


1.       Complete a Chromebook Usage Form.  Each student has received a form; extra forms available in media center.

2.       Return the completed form to Mrs. Wendy Donaldson in the OHS Media Center.

3.       Pay the non-refundable Technology Insurance of $25.00 per device per semester.

a.       Preferred method of payment is My School Bucks (

b.       If you need to send cash or check, money should be turned in to Mrs. Donaldson.

c.       If you write a check, check should be made payable to Opp High School.

4.       Once you have turned in your Usage Form and $25.00, your student will be issued a card with the date and time of Chromebook pickup.

5.       If your student turns in both the form and the $25.00 by December 18, the pickup date will be January 4, 2021.

6.       Additional pick up dates and times will be scheduled for students who turn in required items after December 18, 2020.

7.       A parent or guardian will be required to sign for receipt of Chromebook at time of pickup.


If your child has another OHS device currently checked out of the Media Center, your child is required to turn in that device no later than December 18, 2020, at noon.
